Agios Georgios is situated in northwest Corfu and consists of three separate villages which occupy the sandy beach along a remarkable and large horseshoe-shaped bay. Both arms of the bay have high cliffs on either side. Angelos Apartments are situated at the north end of the bay where the beach runs out and the NW cliff takes over.
If you like swimming in a reasonably calm, sometimes "mirror like" sea, then Agios Georgios is perfect for you. The water is usually crystal clear. There is a diving school along the beach road and snorkelling around the rocky outcrops on the west of the beach is possible.
